How to Donate
POST
The simplest way to donate your teddies and soft toys is to pop them in the post. We’ll take care of the rest when they arrive at Toy Adoption HQ.
DROP OFF
If you're local and can't post your soft toys, we also accept drop-off donations. Just get in touch to arrange a time.
We'll make sure your toys arrive safely and lovingly.
PICK UP
Our Soft Toy Rescue Team can arrange to pick up your donations when in your area. Please contact us to collect and rehome your pre-loved companions."
What kinds of toys can I donate?
We accept all types of soft toys — old, young, big, small, from classic teddy bears to magical unicorns. If it’s soft and full of love, we’ll do our best to rehome it.
Note: At this stage, we’re unable to accept mechanical toys or anything requiring batteries.
Do I need to clean the toys before sending them?
No need to clean them yourself — but thank you for thinking of it!
When toys arrive at The Toy Adoption Company, they are lovingly inspected, restored, hygienically cleaned, and given a full sparkle refresh before finding their next home.
What happens after I donate?
When your toy arrives, it’s warmly welcomed with hugs and cuddles by our team. They’ll undergo a gentle health check, get any needed repairs, and might even try on a brand new outfit! Then, each toy is individually photographed and prepared for their adoption journey.
Rest assured — no toy will ever be discarded or end up in landfill.
Do I need to include a history or story with my donation?
We love hearing about your toy’s past adventures — where they’ve been, who they’ve loved, or even just their name. But we also know life can get busy. If you have time, great! If not, no problem at all.
What should I write about my donation?
Anything! A short story, a name and age, or even just where the toy came from. Every little detail adds heart to their adoption journey and will be shared with their new owner.
Do you offer payment for donations?
We don’t offer payment for donations — our focus is on giving these beautiful toys a second chance at love and reducing the amount of landfill they may create.
